Perhaps the only upside of a global pandemic was the discovery that it was possible to work as an actor from home. I (along with many other suddenly out-of-work actors) adapted to the remote sphere and began self-submitting to authors on audible via ACX using only a dinky mic and GarageBand. Since 2020, I’ve been able to invest in an at-home studio setup equipped with a Shure MV7 Mic and Source Connect.
Huge thanks to Susan, Vanessa, and Brett at Grossman & Jack for taking a chance on me with only a few homemade audiobooks under my belt. My voice has now been featured on national brands such as Culver’s, United Airlines, Jersey Mike’s, and more. I am excited to continue to grow in this form!
